Technology Spotlight: Herdon CSX-10 "Hybrid" Wire Former
The latest in the popular Herdon line of CSX series wire formers. This 16-axis machine has all the standard features of a traditional wire former along with a new 3D changeable tooling head at the top and moveable face on the bottom three slides. This wire former is capable of forming complex 3-D shapes with minimal programming in size ranges from (.008 - .042) diameter using round or profiled wire. The use of this state-of-the-art equipment makes set up and run times more efficient all while bypassing expensive set-up and tooling charges. We are proud to add this small CNC wire bender to our current capabilities.
